One thing we appreciate are artists and/or entrepreneurs who take a different approach to build their business or push a product. Trapavelli Tre’ is 2 Chainz’s latest mixtape project (or product) and the Southside Atlanta rapper definitely went far left with promo this time.

2 Chainz held a private viewing of his Trapavelli Tre’ pop-up shop and an official grand opening off of Peter Street, which is a popular strip in downtown Atlanta. What makes the idea of the Trapavelli store a dope idea is that it accomplishes more than one goal at one time. Not only does he use the store to sell merchandise but also Trapavelli Tre’ is being marketed. Tity Boi is killing two birds with one stone and he’s the first rapper we’ve seen open a store to promote a mixtape.

Trapavelli Tre’ dropped last night. The mixtape features The Dream, Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Gates, Young Dolph, Skooly, Cap 1 and Betty Idol. Production features include Zaytoven, FKi, Nard & B, TM88, Honorable C Note, and several others. The music and the pop-up shop all makes sense. Even the scenery inside the store was reminiscent of an actual trap house. Below are a few photos from 2 Chainz’s Instagram page.
