The AEBL and 2 Chainz’s Tru Foundation hosted their annual back-to-school event this past weekend. Over 200 kids were in attendance for a fun-filled day of activities, free haircuts and hair styles, and backpacks stuffed with school supplies. The event took place at Grady High School in Atlanta, GA.

In addition, the event served as a weekend of play for the league. NBA players Lou Williams (LA Lakers), John Jenkins (Dallas Mavericks), Paul Millsap (Atlanta Hawks), Josh Smith (LA Clippers), and several others came out to help their teams advance to the semi-finals.

Uptown Sounds hit overtime on a high note with Lou Williams scoring 49-points against Paul Millsap’s team (The Skills Factory).

August 8 and 9 will the final weekend for the 2015 summer schedule. If you are in town, come out and enjoy some street ball!
