Rich Homie Quan Wants $2 Million from Label + Official Court Docs

It looks like he’s been getting ripped off by his label head, Girvan Henry of Think It’s A Game Entertainment. In recent court documents filed in U.S. District Court, Northern District of GA – Atlanta Division, rapper Rich Homie Quan claims that Henry screwed him out of at least $2 million. The money he’s missed out on includes monies from royalties, merchandising revenue, and even $550,000 from a distribution deal with Def Jam Records.

Rich Homie Quan’s lawyer, Leron Rogers, says his client is a classic case of young artists who get taken advantage of.

“Unfortunately this is a classic case of a music artist being ripped off by those claiming to have his best interest in mind. Quan has more than delivered on his part of the partnership, delivering hit songs that have sold hundreds of thousands of copies. Mr. Henry has taken advantage of Quan, and now it’s time for him to receive his just due.”

The court papers also claims that Henry purchased a home for $159,500 and illegally used Quan’s name and likeness to copyright a logo used to sell merchandise under Fly Merchandise Enterprises, LLC. If you want to see the detail report, click the link below:
