Pittsburgh Steelers Kicker Shaun Suisham will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL. Suisham was injured in the Steelers preseason 14-3 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. Suisham hurt his left knee while trying to make a tackle in the NFL Hall of Fame game. Suisham has been with the Steelers since 2010 and has made 90% of his field goals attempts the last three seasons.

The Steelers are expected to try out five different kickers to replace Suisham as their staring kicker. The Steelers opted not have an extra kicker on their roster this season and Suisham will be placed on the injured reserve list. Most teams don’t play their starters much in the preseason and the Steelers didn’t have any backup players at this position. It might be best for the Steelers to sign two kickers for the remainder of the preseason.
