Donald Sterling officially files for divorce….

After almost 60 years of marriage, former owner of the LA Clippers, Donald Sterling, has officially filed divorce papers in court.

Court documents state that the couple had irreconcilable differences, which was initially denied for being incomplete. However, it was corrected and resubmitted. Sterling is still not happy about the decision to sell the LA Clippers to ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Sterling claims that he had the right to half of the Clippers organization, however wasn’t given a chance.

Attorney Pierce O’Donnell said Shelly Sterling has no comment and had not seen either court filing. Mrs. Sterling stated that she agreed the couple had problems and had divorce papers drawn up, but never filed.
