92 year-old woman kicked out the church…..

Josephine King, age 92 of First African Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia, received a letter that would forever change her life. King who served as a member of the First African Baptist Church had been a member for over 50 years when she received a letter for not paying her tithes. WALB reported that the letter from FABC Senior Pastor Derrick Mike, claimed that King “has shown non-support” to the ministry in the areas of “constant and consistent financial and physical participation.”

Gerald Simmons, the nephew of Ms. King, is outraged by the letter and feels that the church is money hungry for attempting to terminate her membership. Simmons stated that his aunt is elderly and considered to be sick and shut in. “It’s about God. You have to put God first,” Simmons says.
