Julio Jones scored both of his touchdowns in the second half to help the Atlanta Falcons beat the Dallas Cowboys 39-28. Jones had his third straight game of 100 yards or more receiving. Jones finished the game with 12 catches for 164 yards. The Falcons trailed the Cowboys 28-17 at halftime and Jones 45 yard touchdown catch in the 3rd quarter sparked a comeback for Atlanta. The Falcons converted a two-point conversion and trailed 28-25 after Jones touchdown.

Julio Jones caught a two yard pass in the fourth quarter and scored the final touchdown of the game. This was Jones best game of the season and his second two-touchdown game of the season. Jones didn’t score last week against the New York Giants and finished with 13 catches for 135 yards. The first game of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles, Jones went off with 9 catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

Julio Jones 34 catches is the most ever by a player in the first three games in NFL history. Jones is making a case that he is the best Wide Receiver in the NFL and definitely one of the top three in the league. Jones is living up to his expectations after signing a five-year $71.25 million extension this season. The Falcons are now 3-0 and tied with the Carolina Panthers for the best record in the NFC South division. If Jones continues to play like this, the Falcons should win the NFC South and return to the playoffs after missing it the last two seasons.
