All of Atlanta showed up this past Tuesday (November 3rd) for the private screening of the first episode of “Selling It: In The ATL”. The reality series is next up for the WE tv network and, from the audience reactions, will be their next break out hit.

“Selling It: In The ATL” follows seven female real estate professionals who all come with a different beat in their step. The show stars A’Lana, Chrishena, Tahlia, Sarah, Gwen, Okevia, and Jae. From the premiere episode, which officially airs Thursday, November 5 at 10PM ET/PT, viewers will see that each of the ladies carry their own smarts, savvy, and ability to make a buck in real estate. What struck my cord when previewing the show is how each of them appear to have story-lines that can easily transcend to future seasons. For instance Gwen, who’s re-entering the real estate game, apparently has a older child with autism that has a celebrity dad that disowns him. It is clear that – during the season – who this mystery man is will eventually come to light.

Okay, so who stands out??

Off top, Tahlia is a stand out character (at least in episode one). She’s beautiful, vivacious, and clearly has a huge appetite for using her sexuality to sell properties. How well the others will get along with her is questionable, considering the tiny riff between her and the newbie, Jae. But one thing that Tahlia needs to do ASAP is stop taking care of her man. I mean, shoot, the D can’t be that good. LOL

Throughout the screening, I heard lots of laughter and a few ooh’s and ahh’s. This could very well be a great sign that this show may just work!

Celebrities from other reality shows were present to show their support. Spotted in the building were host Egypt Sherrod, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks, Claudia Jordan, Mimi Faust, Gocha Hawkins, rapper K Camp, the entire cast of “Cutting It: In The ATL,” and a slew of others. Also, the President of WE tv and executive producer Carlos King was at the Woodruff Arts Center, as well as, more of the staff and production executives.
