KRS-One taped a special “political” commentary video for CNN. The veteran emcee spoke on the lack of realness in the past and present state of politics. He asks the question, “What’s fake and what’s real in politics?”

With social movements like #BlackLivesMatter and “Stop The Violence,” KRS-One is all too familiar. His early 90’s classic, “Sound of Da Police,” touched on the same issues minorities face today with police brutality and racial profiling. So, it’s not a surprised that KRS-One still share some of the viewpoints that he did over two decades ago.

In the CNN video, KRS-One goes on to talk about his feelings about the candidates in the running for President of the United States. He believes that these candidates are making a mockery of American citizens. KRS-One also speaks on the importance of being an educated voter.
