R&B singer August Alsina’s sophomore album will be be released on December 11th.  The album, This Thing Called Life, features 15-tracks and collaborations with Chris Brown, Anthony Hamilton, Jadakiss, and his New Orleans comrade, Lil Wayne.

This summer, August Alsina debuted the joint he has with Weezy, “Why I Do It” and later put out “Song Cry.”  The songs are very reflective, which has become synonymous with Alsina’s style of music. He’s had a troubling year with personal health issues and public disagreements with family. However, the young crooner is pushing forward with life and will use the music as a theraputic tool. Alsina recently stopped by Big Boy’s radio show to talk more about the album, his views on the world and love. Watch the interview below:
