Over the Thanksgiving weekend, rapper Flo Rida and his IMG Strong Arm label hosted a free gospel concert in South Florida. The 4th Annual Gospel Explosion brought families out to witness the amazing performances by Pastor Shirley Caesar, Tye Tribbet, Canton Jones, and many others. Flo Rida and the IMG family also presented legendary soul songstress Betty Wright with the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award for her many accomplishments and dedication to music as an art form and mentoring tool.

According to press release, Flo Rida created this event as a way to bring the family together for a fun day away from the hectic hustle and bustle that comes with the Black Friday Holiday. Over the years he has been blessed with multiple #1 hits, sold out tours, and abundance of other things. This concert is a way for him to give back to the community he grew up in. This event allows him to bring to light what the real meaning of the holiday season is all about.
