Felicia “Snoop” Pearson, of the hit cable series “The Wire,” has had an interesting life. In 2007, she released a book ‘Grace After Midnight: A Memoir’ that revealed a lot about her upbringing and life living in Baltimore. Now, the memoir has transitioned into a documentary of the same title.

Filmmaker and activist, Akio Evans takes you on a triumphant journey as he documents HBO’s ‘The Wire’s’ Felicia (Snoop) Pearson’s raise, fall and resurgence. For the first time, Felicia shares the encounters that lead to her unlawful arrest in 2011 and details the life story of a child growing up in the rough streets of Baltimore City.

In ‘Grace After Midnight Pain’, you witness her determination and resilience to make it as a serious actress in the entertainment industry. The documentary features guest appearances from Anwan Glover, Tristan Wilds, Michael K. Williams, Spike Lee and many more.
