Draya Michele is ready to leave the past behind…for real this time.

Apparently, the former “Basketball Wives of L.A.” star want to share her life story with the masses in the form of a very personal film project. Draya recently told Global Grind that she is working on a true tea documentary with Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment. The film is to be released on Netflix.

She explains that the documentary will reveal her upbringing in Pennsylvania from birth to age 31. Draya feels the public doesn’t truly get who she is and now it’s time to put her past to rest once and for all.

“The thing about being in the limelight is you want everyone to forget all of the bad things you did, and I felt like that for a long time. ‘Just forget that I did all of this stuff before, I’m not that anymore,’” she said. “Then it was like, alright. I’m going to talk about it this one long time and I’m going to take you from birth to 31, and then we are not going to talk about it anymore.”

No information on the project’s release date.
