Pokémon Go put Nintendo back on the map when it launched on July 6. Besides shareholders making bank off of the phenomenon, players are too.

Players are reaping the financial benefit of Pokémon Go by selling their accounts. Experienced players are cashing in on their game accounts. As of last week, over 100 accounts were for sale. The Wall Street Journal reports that one level 21 with five powerful Pokémon was being sold for $600. The higher the power an account has, the more valuable it becomes. Advertisement announcing the sale of accounts are now being posted on sites like Craigslist.
