Delta airlines mass outage has caused over 1200 flights to be delayed and/or canceled. In case you are one of the passengers that were scheduled to fly on August 8 or 9 but couldn’t, here’s how to get a refund or a travel voucher:

  1. Travelers who’s flight that was delayed three or more hours, you can request a refund. ‘
  2. Delta is waiving the cost for a ticket change. However, if you reschedule your flight for a date after August 12, you may incur a higher airfare. The airline recommend passengers to reschedule their flights at Delta.com or their app.
  3. Passengers can receive a $200 travel voucher if their flight was canceled or delayed more than three hours. You have 1-year to use the voucher on any Delta-operated flight.

The voucher can not be used by other family or friends, only the stranded individual.
