Comedian Martin Lawrence is releasing his first concert special in 14 years. The comedic special is titled Martin Lawrence Doin’ Time: Uncut and will air on Showtime. The special will showcase the veteran comedian covering a wide range of topics including Bill Cosby, President Obama, and celebrity impressions. Martin Lawrence Doin’ Time: Uncut will be executive produced by Lawrence, Gary Binkow, and Michael Green. David Raynr will serve as director. “I look forward to having my third concert film premiere on Showtime. Fourteen years is a long time between concert specials and I am excited to know that my TV audience will be able to enjoy this show as if they came to see me live,” stated Lawrence. Lawrence last comedy special premiered in 2002 (Martin Lawrence Live: Runteldat). Besides stand-up, Lawrence will also get back to his acting roots with the 2018 release of Bad Boys 3 (officially titled ‘Bad Boys For Life’). No word yet on when the stand-up special will air.
