PayScale.com recently compiled salary data for their annual College Salary Report. Over a million college grads completed the online survey, in which the results showed which degree programs offered up the highest salary potential.

Graduates from 963 colleges and universities took the PayScale survey. The survey revealed which educational studies can offer grads a decent salary. Editorial Director LyDia Frank, of PayScale, tells Business Insider that there’s a reason why Engineering landed at the top of the list.

“Engineering is a lucrative field that crosses many different industries. But even if engineering is your field of choice, ensuring you receive a well-rounded education is important to future career success.”
