Jay Z’s Roc Nation has expanded their portfolio to include gaming apps.

The music label and multi-faceted management firm has partnered with Phil McIntyre’s Philymack, Kevin Jonas and Steven Forkosh to develop celebrity gaming apps. Their first app on the market is Demi Lovato’s Zombarazzie Adventure and DNCE.

The idea behind the partnership is to create platforms that’ll stretch the norms of celebrity-fan engagement. To do that, Philymack’s “freemium” games are able to be downloaded by users  and operated at no cost.

For instance, the DNCE app allows users to play for free or upgrade to premium status, which will offer clothing, exclusive content, etc. DNCE wardrobe is $2.99 for all-inclusive merchandise and $8.99 for in-game currency that offers special content for users.

Roc Nation’s roster, itself, will help generate potential gaming apps for the artists, athletes, and other popular figures signed to the company.

Hopefully, gamers will get to see a Rihanna app in action. This is one app that is sure to bring in millions.
