If you or someone you know are experiencing difficulties voting, there are various hotlines and websites available to help you.  The problems that can occur can range from discrepancies at your polling-place and the poll monitors to voting law violations. Whether the case, it is your right to report it to the authorities and figure out how you can cast your vote.

Nationally, individuals can access www.866ourvote.org online. This website offers up all the information needed on state-to-state polling stations, civil rights laws, voting intimidation, and much more. Complaints regarding violations of federal voting laws should be fielded to the U.S. Department of Justice at 800-253-3931 or 202-307-2767.  The DOJ also accept complaints via email at voting.section@usdoj.gov or online at www.justice.gove/crt/votercomplaint.

Complaints about election fraud are handled by the 94 U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, the FBI and the Justice Department’s Public Integrity Section. To make a complaint, call 202-514-1412.

The Election Protection Coalition operates a national hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683). This office can assist voters in every state regarding their rights.

Statewide, voters can access a voter hotline to report problems or suspicious activity surrounding the election. The hotline can be accessed through the National Association of Secretary of State website.
