Singer and reality television veteran, Keyshia Cole, revealed that Mona Scott-Young offered her a big chunk of change if she joined the cast of “Love & Hip Hop.”

Cole, who isn’t a newbie to reality television, starred in two of her own shows on BET. “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” aired in 2006, detailed the humble upbringings of the young star and the dysfunction of her family dynamic. She returned to BET in 2015 with “All In,” which showcased her life as a mother and wife of Ex-NBA star Daniel “Boobie” Gibson.  With the ups and downs of Keyshia’s career, it’s not-so strange to see that she considered coming back to reality TV.

“Mona (Scott Young) reached out to me a few times and reached out to Remy [Ma] and reached out to my management and was just asking if I would be willing to do it. And I was just like, I think it’s a great platform for artists you know if you do it right. I wouldn’t want to be in like all the crazy stuff.”

“We shot some numbers around and I told her what it would take for me to be on the show and she said she would go back and try to get with them because it was like a number that obviously (was high) ….”

It is being reported that Cole asked for a little more than $1 million to do “Love & Hip Hop.” But, she later just turned down the offer all together do the negative energy surrounding the negotiations.

However, Cole did hint that she’d be happy to do a show with her estranged husband, Boobie. “He would be a part of anything I do because we’re co-parenting. I would love to show that. I mean, we have a great relationship.”
