Kendrick Lamar has announced that he’s going on The DAMN Tour, which follows his No. 1 album that was released on April 14.  Excited to be added to the lineup is hip-hop artist D.R.A.M. and Travi$ Scott.

D.R.A.M. expressed his gratitude via Twitter today, stating that just three years ago he was broke and performing in local showcases. Now, he has the pleasure to be on tour with the one of the top emcees in the game.

“Just to think that in 2014 I went from being flat broke and starry eyed, performing in struggle showcases at local bars. Then fast forward to present day. I’m really finna go on tour with THE Kendrick Lamar. AND Laflame..DAMN.”

 

The 17-date tour begins on July 12 in Phoenix, AZ and concludes Aug. 6 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This marks Kendrick’s first full tour.

“DAMN.,” the rapper’s third No. 1 album, soared to the top of the Billboard 200 this weekend, scoring the top-selling week for an LP so far this year: 603,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music.
