T.I. is being sued by a local Atlanta jeweler for an excessive $755,000.  Aydin & Co.’s lawsuit claims that the Grand Hustle co-founder failed to pay for several items since their initial dealings in 2004. But, T.I. is allegedly banking on the “statute of limitations” argument to help stop him from having to come out of pocket.

Reportedly, Tip entered into an open account arrangement, in 2013, with Aydin & Co. After a while, Tip stopped making payments on the account, which included non-payment for the following: seven custom made diamond pendants valued at $145,000, $40,000 in “assorted women’s jewelry,” a $30,000 blue diamond watch, a $24,500 women’s diamond bracelet, a $13,500 men’s wedding band, two $10,000 custom-made dog tags, $9,500 diamond hoop earrings, and a 48-carat diamond chain.

Aydin & Co. owner Fevzi Aydin claims that several communications for payment were ignored by Tip, which prompted him to file a lawsuit.

Tip has requested that the judge ban Aydin & Co. from suing him for any jewelry sold before 2011. Apparently, Tip claims that the jeweler company never sent any texts or emails that detailed his outstanding balances.

No final ruling on the lawsuit as of yet.
