Rapper Fabolous was honored with the key to the city from his hometown Brooklyn, NY. 

On Sunday (June 11), Fabolous was presented the key by Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams. The moment was also special for Fab as he was inducted into the Brooklyn Celebrity Path. He was celebrated alongside famed artist Jean-Michel Basquait, whose family accepted the honor on his behalf.

“Had the honor of being presented the Key To Brooklyn from Brooklyn Borough President @bpericadams today,” Fab said on Instagram. “Still crazy to me that I’m being honored by the place that birth, raised, & made me who I am today. Thank You Brooklyn.”

Fabolous’ celebrity path acknowledgment joins a long list of icons like Jackie Robinson, Vince Lombardi, Rosie Perez and others.
