Swizz Beatz just landed a partnership with Zenith to develop a collection of time pieces. The music producer-art collector-businessman shared the excitement on his Instagram page. In his captions, Swizz Beatz expressed his appreciation to Zenith for understanding his creativity and making one of his dreams come true.

“VID πŸŽ₯ Signing day #zenithwatches πŸ† It’s time to make more History with pure quality & craftsmanship πŸ‘ŒπŸ½ Thank you @jcbiver for understanding my creativity as I’m just a kid from the bronx with Big Dreams πŸ™πŸ½ Thanks @kamalhaute for always seeing my vision πŸ‘ŒπŸ½ it was also amazing to bring my son with me so he can see the level that his dad operates on so he can be better. I can’t wait to show you what we have on the way I’m telling you now get on board before you miss the train 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁 Sky’s not the limits it’s just the view BX !!!!!!”

Swizz’s ambitiousness and ability to secure deals with major brands has been one of his great attributes. However, the Bronx-native is not one to shy away from controversy even if it involves a symbol that he helped make a global brand.

Recently, the luxury fashion house Balenciaga was called out by Swizz Beatz for the unlicensed usage of the Ruff Ryders logo on one of their garments. Balenciaga debuted the shirt during their Men’s Fashion Week “Spring 2018” runway show in Paris. A male model wore a shirt strikingly similar to a Ruff Ryders shirt produced back in 2000.

Swizz Beatz let it be known that this infringement isn’t cool and that the fashion house should make things right by opening up a school in New York.

“This is the Ruff Ryders original version from 2000πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€ @balenciaga @vetements_official πŸ€”πŸ‘€ what are we doing??? Call me back blessings . I Might just want you to open up a fashion school in the bronx or harlem πŸ€”Just so you can give back to the culture !πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½ thoughts ????”
