Bad Gal RiRi will be honored next month with her own street in her hometown of Barbados.

Robyn “Rihanna” Fenty new street will be located in St. Michael, according to the announcement made by The Barbados Ministry of Tourism. The 2-hour dedication ceremony will take place on November 30 from 3 to 5 pm.

November 30 is also Barbados’ Independence Day.

“The Government of Barbados will on Independence Day, Thursday 30th November, 2017 officially change the name of Westbury New Road located in St. Michael to Rihanna Drive in honour of Barbadian superstar Ms. Robyn Rihanna Fenty who grew up in Westbury New Road,” states announcement.

Rihanna is not one of those celebrities who forgets where she comes from. The pop superstar is a regular to the annual Crop Over carnival and often travel home to visit family and participate in various philanthropic activities.
