To start, this is not a post to bash Chris Brown. This is merely an opinion on why his career may soon see its demise.
Over the weekend in D.C., Chris Brown was arrested for allegedly assaulting a man outside of a Washington hotel. The victim was admitted to a nearby hospital and treated for several injuries. Authorities have not released the details of the injuries or his name. But, reports say the assault occurred during a fight that broke out in the midst of Howard Homecoming weekend festivities. Brown was in town to perform at a local club. The school says it was not affiliated with the club party that Brown was to appear.
This arrest is the latest addition to Brown’s list of legal troubles. What is the problem though? Where was the security team that is supposed to protect and prevent him from getting into any altercations? Does Chris still deal with anger management issues? These are a host of questions that a lot of people are pondering. But, the question I keep asking myself is “what is his team doing to prevent situations like this?”
It is clear that Brown deals with his own personal issues. And yes, he is human and chooses to handle situations the way he sees fit. But, at some point, the label or management should be held to some level of accountability. I mean, they are making money off the singer…right?!!
Brown is still on probation from Rihanna’s ordeal. So, those who are apart of his entourage is supposed to take extra strides in making sure he doesn’t get in any trouble. Where were these people when the D.C. fight broke out? Why didn’t his security team step in and do their job?
Only those who were present (and the police) knows what really happened. But, regardless, why was Chris Brown one of the ones to be arrested? He has the most the lose out of anyone. As a “team”, you never supposed to let your star player fall from grace. He’s the money maker. He feeds all of them. Only a hater or jealous team member would set their leader up for failure. IJS…
Hey Chris Brown! You need to reevaluate who is on your team. It is looking like they’re trying to knock you out the game and…UOENO it!

One things for sure, the 2013 BET Awards brought the heat this year when it came to performances. There were actually more performances than awards given out. But, that’s cool. The millions of viewers who tuned in were more interested in the singing and dancing than they were who won best so and so. With that said, it was rather difficult to pick who actually had the best performance of the night. Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, Charlie Wilson’s tribute, Janelle Monae and others all showed out. But if I could give an award to the most jaw dropping performance of night, it would have to go to Atlanta’ own Ciara. Ci Ci did her thang and showed the critics that she isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Also, this year BET decided to include a reggae set to the line-up which included Beenie Man and Elephant Man. Although new, this was a great addition and opportunity to represent for the large Caribbean culture here in America.
In case you missed the awards show, check out a few of the performances below.

Who were your favorite performers of the night???
While some of you may still be caught up in Chris Brown’s personal business, the singer/entrepreneur is on his grind, all about his stacks and out handling his business for real. After recently getting his new foundation Symphonic Love up and running, the *** singer is now taking his love of art and fashion to another level times two.
The first comes by way of his new clothing line, Black Pyramid. The venture is a collaboration with the streetwear brand Pink+Dolphin founders Neima Khaila and Cena Barhaghi. Chris launched the line earlier this week at the Pink Dolphin flagship store in Los Angeles. The apparel collection will primarily consist of hats, t-shirts, and sweats.
Explaining the label’s name, Chris said, “The black pyramid label is basically an unknown art. We really haven’t mastered the art of making a pyramid ourselves, like the ancient ones, so it’s kinda like an unknown art. So I think my painting, my designs, whatever I do fashion wise is unknown to a lot of people.”
In addition to the clothing line, Chris is also upping the ante by recently signing with the Wilhelmina Models with hopes of scoring some endorsements with fashion and beauty brands. “Art and style has always played a significant role in my life—it’s evolved with me throughout my career,” Chris said in a statement. “I’m so happy to join the Wilhelmina team, which has countless successes in the industry, to explore this new avenue.”
About acquiring the artist, a rep for the company said, “Chris Brown is a multifaceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand.”
Well there you have it and whether you’re a fan or not, one thing about it and two things for sure…you can’t deny his talent or drive. Keep doing your thing C. Breezy! Gotta Repspect the Grind!
Big Sean of G.O.O.D Music is making some noise again by way of a new single entitled “Selling Dreams”. Teaming up with his buddy Chris Brown for the song, both men lend their talents to detailing the trials and tribulation of a strained relationship. “Selling Dreams” was produced by Da Internz and is featured on his recently released mixtape, Detroit. Check out “Selling Dreams” below…
The backlash from the brawl that occured a few weeks ago, between the crews of Chris Brown and Drake, continues to pour in.
The latest legal development involves the nightclub itself. Club W.i.P. is said to have been on the radar of city officials for quite some time. The club has received complaints regarding noise violations, fights, drug deals and alcohol sales to minors. This most recent incident caused the State Liquor Authority to file 14 charges against the club.
“They’re absolutely in jeopardy of losing their licenses,” said SLA spokesman William Crowley. “They have a number of prior charges, too, so that comes into play when we’re looking at taking action.”
After the Chris Brown and Drake incident, several injured patrons has come forth with lawsuits. The largest, however, is from NBA star Tony Parker. Parker has filed a $20 million lawsuit claiming that the club owners should have been aware of the previous “beef” between the two entertainers and never allowed them on the premises at the same time.

DJ Khaled has released his first single of his upcoming album, Kiss The Ring. The street banger, Take It To The Head, features YMCMB label mates Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. Rick Ross and Chris Brown blessed the record giving the song an instant “remix” feel.
Check out the video below:
Nicki Minaj dropped the visual to “Right By My Side” today. The track features Chris Brown and suprisingly rapper Nas, as her leading man. Benny Boom shot the video which portrayed Nicki as the sweet girl who flashbacks to various times in the relationship. Nas and Nicki actually would make a good looking couple…in my opinion.

Chris Breezy is proving that he’s more than just a singer. After releasing his skills alongside Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne, he’s rumored to be in the process of creating a full rap mixtape, Real Hip Hop Sh*t. Check out this new cut where he’s showcasing pretty decent rap skills:
For all Breezy fans, the new mixtape should hold them over until Fortune drops (F.A.M.E. follow-up album). Of course we all know the boy got talent. But, do you think he could make it as a rapper?
Chris Breezy is on a war path to claim his top spot back. He proves this with the hot single “Look At Me Now” featuring Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne.
