So So Def Rocks Out w/JD, Jay-Z, Monica, Jeezy, Mariah Carey & More @ Fox Theatre [Photos + Video]

The Fox Theatre was turnt up Saturday night as Jermaine Dupri and his So So Def family celebrated their 20th Anniversary.  As expected, a sold out crowd and the majority of the So So Def roster came out to support music legend JD.  Da Brat, Jagged Edge, J-Kwon, Xscape members LaTocha & Tameka Scott, Kris Kross, Bow Wow, Lil Jon, Bone Crusher, Anthony Hamilton, Dondria, are just a few names that were in attendance to perform some of their most recognized hits.

But, JD pulled out all the stops with a few surprises up his sleeve. His longtime friend and musical partner, Mariah Carey, came out to celebrate. Usher Raymond, Ludacris, Lil Scrappy, Nelly, Pastor Troy, Young Jeezy and to everyone’s surprise Jay-Z stepped out on stage to pure pandamonium. Check out a few pics from the event…

New Music: “It All Belongs To Me” by Monica feat. Brandy

Monica and Brandy’s long-awaited collaboration hit the net this week! The new single, “It All Belongs To Me”, features the two talented songstresses exchanging words about some worthless guy who’s time is up. Both ladies make it known simply that they want their sh*t back! Mackbook and all. LOL  Check out the new single:

New Vid: Monica – Until It’s Gone

Here’s Monica Brown’s new video for “Until It’s Gone”.  The beautifully scripted video features Melinda Williams (“Soul Food”) and Brian White (“The Shield”). The two play lovers who unfortunately faces trying times when Melinda is hospitalized after a bad car accident. Of course, Brian reaches his breaking point and suffers great emotion when he realizes he may never see the love of his life ever again.  Check it out:

New Vid: Monica – Anything (To Find You) feat. Rick Ross

Mrs. Monica Brown dropped this hot new video today. The lead single to her upcoming album New Life, boasts about wanting to find the right love. The track, produced by Missy Elliott, features Miami’s own Rick Ross. On the unofficial version released months ago featured Lil Kim as well. But Biggie’s mom put a choke hold on that.

    The track still ROCKS though!

New Music: Monica – Anything (To Find You)

To leak a new track and walk down the aisle in the same week, the new Mrs. Shannon Brown knows how to make us keep her name in our mouths. The new track, titled Anything (To Find You), features Lil Kim and Rick Ross. Monica’s longtime friend, Missy Elliott, produced the Biggie-insipired track. No word yet on when Monica will release her next album. When we find out, we’ll let you know. Until then, listen to the song and let us know what you think!

Monica’s “Nail Inspirations”

Last year for Miss Monica…oops we meant MRS. Monica, there was a new hit album and a new boo turned husband. Well to keep things rolling, in addition to enjoying her new life in L.A. as Mrs. Shannon Brown and possibly working on expanding her family, Monica is now getting into the business of nails.

As an extension of the nail care company, Orly, Monica will launch her very own line of nail polish called “Nail Inspirations”. Check out the video below to listen as Monica gives you a little more insight as to what “Nail Inspirations” is all about.

Passion, Pain, Pleasure ATL Stop (Pics)

Trey Songz and Monica made their stop in Atlanta this weekend while on their Passion, Pain, Pleasure tour. Check out a few pics from their perfomances to a sold out crowd at the Fox Theater. Jermaine Dupri’s new artist, Dondria, was the show’s opening act.

Studio Xclusive: Keyshia Cole

Keyshia Cole is gearing up for her 3rd cd release, A Different Me. The album, which is supposed to give her fans a glimpse of the more edgy and sexier side of Ms. Cole, will hit stores next Tuesday, Dec. 16.
