Yesterday an update was released regarding the devastating plane crash which injured Travis Barker (former drummer of Blink 182) and DJ AM. TMZ reports that “Travis has been burned from the waist down, but is expected to survive. DJ AM’s face was badly burned and is being tended to now.“

The deadly crash of their private plane burst into flames after attempting to fly from Columbia, South Carolina to Los Angeles. Four others on board were killed in the crash. Those people included Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker, pilot Sarah Lemmon, co-pilot James Bland, and Barker’s bodyguard Charles Still. Barker and AM were transported immediately to an Augusta, GA burn center where they are still placed.

Barker’s assistant was noted to have recently married and has a new baby.
