It might not have been Friday the 13th, but things were definitely horrific for O.J. Simpson this past Friday in a Las Vegas courtroom. After an all-white jury deliberated for 13 hours at the close of a 13-day trial, Simpson was found guilty on all charges stemming from an incident that happened on Sept. 13, 2007. Ironically, he was convicted on the 13th anniversary of his L.A. murder acquittal. It may be safe to say that 13 just isn’t the Juice’s lucky number.

The 61-year-old Hall of Fame football star was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges for gathering five men a year ago and storming into a room at a hotel-casino, where the group seized several game balls, plaques and photos. Prosecutors said two of the men with him were armed; one of them said Simpson asked him to bring a gun.

After the verdict was read, Simpson was handcuffed and taken out of the courtroom. He possibly faces life in prison. Could this be karma?
