Well it looks like NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony’s wish came true. In a highly anticipated trade deal, Anthony is saying goodbye to the Denver Nuggets and hello to the New York Knicks. To many people’s surprise though, Melo won’t go alone.

In what turned out to be a nine-player trade deal and then some, the Knicks also got Nuggets’ players Chauncey Billups,  Anthony Carter, Shelden Williams and Renaldo Balkman. In return, the Knicks gave the Nuggets Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Timofey Mozgov, their 2012 and 2013 second-round draft picks in addition to their 2014 first-round draft pick and $3 million.

This should definitely shake things up and make for an interesting remainder of the season.
