There’s no doubt about it, between Atlanta and Miami, the strip club scene is a unarguably the top form of late night entertainment.  With club owners and exotic dancers making stacks (on top of stacks) of dough, the strip club business is indeed very lucrative. It is no wonder we see many of our young girls entering this industry that’s looked down upon by Bible toting Christians and people who simply don’t care for the art form. Well, for those that are not privy to this lifestyle and underworld, Urban Clout is bringing this multi-million business to the forefront via reality television.

Strip Club Queens of Atlanta is the first installment of an online-based reality tv show.  Although the creator Delmond Newton originally sought out Washington, DC as the headlining city, apparently their plot just wasn’t thick enough for his vision.  As such, Atlanta became the next stop and deciding choice to start off the franchise.  According the show’s synopsis on WorldstarHipHop.com, the series is the first of a multi-city franchise that will feature six strippers whom will give viewers access to their lives in and out the club.  The ladies that are featured in the Atlanta franchise are Ferrari, Sina, Kat, BeBe, Ginger, and Boy Toy.

One things for sure, there’s plenty drama involved which is no different than any other well-watched reality show.  But, is it taking reality tv too far?  In my opinion, I don’t think it is.  It is no different than watching music videos that always seem to have half-naked dancers included.  I’ll even go out on the limb and say that the same people that watch those videos (or even go to the clubs) are the same contradicting individuals that sit around and throw shade.  The one cool thing about this show, however, is the fact that it viewed only through subscriptions via UrbanClout’s website.  Since this is considered X-rated, it is good that the show can only be seen if you pay $0.99 per episode. This should weed out our young kids from seeing this (despite still having access to the over-sexualized music videos I mentioned earlier).
