Essay Contest Awards Holiday Party to 2 Florida Schools [PHOTOS]

WEDR 99 Jamz‘s own DJ Nasty did it big for two Florida schools this holiday season. The popular Florida DJ, along with SouthPromo.com and Bluehouse Consulting, set up shop at Discovery Elementary School in Sunrise, FL and Lauderhill Paul Turner Elementary School in Lauderhill, FL. This year, students were asked to submit essays explaining how they would change the world. Out of hundreds submitted, two essays were selected.

Winners received a school takeover, which included a cash prize, pizza party sponsored by Papa Johns, cupcakes, and other treats. In addition, each winner will have the opportunity to co-host the “Top 8 at 8 Show” on WEDR 99 Jamz with DJ Nasty.
