According to Rentrak, the world’s leader in precise measurements of TV and movies, lovers of “The Hunger Games” was definitely waiting to see Part 1 of the final saga. In only 10 days, “Mockingjay Part 1” pulled in an estimated $480.1 million in box office sales worldwide.

With distribution in 86 international markets, “Mockingjay Part 1” was able to secure its no. 1 spot on the international and worldwide box office charts. Other notable titles that rounded out the Top 5 Movies Worldwide for week ending Nov.30 were Penguins of Madagascar, Interseller, Horrible Bosses 2, and Big Hero 6.
