The Universal Pictures release will highlight the musical journey of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, and Ice Cube, historically known as the most dangerous group. During a recent concert gig in Sydney, Australia, Ice Cube premiered the official trailer for the film. One audience member captured video footage of the trailer and posted it on YouTube. The film stars Corey Hawkins (as Dr. Dre), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (as his father, Ice Cube), and Jason Mitchell (as Eazy-E). Straight Outta Compton is directed by F. Gary Gray.
