The Nash family charged for not attending party….

The recession is real and people aren’t taking any excuses when it comes to the mighty dollar.

The parents of 5 year-old Alex Nash of Cornwall, England received an invoice after Alex failed to show up to a classmates’ birthday party he was invited to. Alex intended to go to the party, however, after receiving news that his grandparents were in town he decided to spend time with them.  Alex went to school later that week and when he returned home, he had an invoice for $24.13 titled “Childs’ Party No-Show Fee.”

Alex mother Tanya Walsh stated that she had no way of contacting the family to inform them that he wouldn’t be able to make it and doesn’t agree with the invoice. Not only will the family possibly have to go to court to resolve the issue, but Alex friend is no longer speaking to him.

Although it may seem a bit far fetch, I can totally understand why the parents of Alex Nash were charged $25 after they failed to attend a costly birthday party. #WhatWouldYouDo
