Legend Evander Holyfield may lose mementos due to more debt…

Evander Holyfield is back in the news again. And again, he’s having money issues.

This time, Holyfield may lose his 1998 Father of the Year Award to Yank Barry, CEO of VitaPro Foods. In 2013, Barry loaned the boxing legend $621,133. As collateral, Holyfield’s prize possessions were at stake – championship belts, gloves from ’96 fight with Mike Tyson, custom boxing robes, and the Father of the Year award.

Holyfield promised to pay back the money by June 1, 2014. According to Barry, he’s only received about $150K and wants the rest of the debt owed ($471K) plus the collateral.
