Rapper Gucci Mane is finally a free man.

Just 4 months sly of his official release date, the judge agreed to set him free after recognizing previous time served. Gucci’s lawyer, Drew Findling, told TMZ that he was released early Thursday morning (May 26) from an Indiana prison. Gucci is placed on house arrest for the next few months and already has a home outside of the city.

Gucci Mane will start his probation after the house arrest is complete.

What has to be at the forefront of Gucci’s mind now is getting back to what he love…rap music. Although he never stopped working on music – releasing several mixtapes while behind bars – Gucci’s first item on the list, hopefully, is to release an album. He’s probably got a long list of superstars ready to work with him on this project. Wouldn’t it be great if Beyonce released a “Lemonade” remix with Gucci?  Why not? He did release his own “Lemonade” record, in 2012, that became an instant classic.

Fans are waiting to see what he does next. However, for now, sources say Gucci is in the middle of a bidding war amongst promoters. There’s not many rappers that can pack a club like Gucci. We’ve been told by an industry source that it’s nothing for Gucci to bring 6,000 people to a large venue or stadium show. If you make that calculation, then there’s no wonder promoters are willing to pay Gucci six figures for a club appearance/concert.

Welcome home, Gucci!
