The Game recently made press rounds in New York City to discuss his beef with Meek Mill. During a stop at SiriusXM studios, the West Coast rapper spoke with Hip Hop Nation’s Torae and went into further details about the situation, what sparked the social media and lyrical wars, and whether or not their beef can be rectified.

thegame-toraeFor many hip-hop fans, The Game’s sudden disdain for Meek seemed to come out of nowhere. However, it stemmed from an incident where Sean Kingston got his $300K chain snatched at a local L.A. nightclub. The Game and Meek Mill’s crew were in the club when it happened.

This incident happened over 3 months ago. But, all of a sudden, The Game wants to make it public that his crew didn’t snatch the chain and that Meek Mill is a snitch.

In case you’re wondering why it took so long for all of this to come out, The Game says he tried to squash over a three-way call.

The Game: What happen was, I got Meek on the phone. And, I’m just like “You told Sean [Kingston] that?” He said, “I didn’t tell that fat mother****** nothing!”

So I said we gone fix this. I got him on the three-way. Sean Kingston, me, Meek on a three-way. And, he [Meek] was going off on Sean Kingston. Sean Kingston saying “Yes, you did. Yes, you did.” And he [Meek] saying mother****** you b**ch a**, I…

So I just hung up the phone. I’m like…

Torae: We don’t have time for that…

The Game: I can’t man. After the detectives came to my crib, I’m like “That’s wild.” but I still held it to my self. But then I got drunk. You know how this Patron do. Drinking in Miami one night. I’m in Miami man and I’m partying. I got drunk. You tell the truth and it come out. Out of nowhere, I’m like “F**k Meek Mill.” Myself was like…

Torae: Why you’d say that [laughs]

The Game: So from then, I had to ride it out.
