“Flavor of Love” star and rap pioneer Flavor Flav is suing his group, Public Enemy, over unpaid royalties.

TMZ is reporting that Flavor Flav says he hasn’t seen a dime in years despite having an agreement with Chuck D. Flav says the two agreed to split any profits from “music, live concerts, and merchandise.”

He goes on to claim that he hasn’t not received $75,000 for the usage of his image and voice on their new album Nothing Is Quick In The Desert. Flav has only received $7500.

The clock-wearing hype man is also suing producer G-Wiz for signing off on a deal for Public Enemy action figures without his knowledge. Flav is pissed that he wasn’t paid anything from that deal.

But, Chuck D later responded to the TMZ report that Flav was taking the “wrong road” by suing him.

“Flav has his rights, but took a wrong road on this.” Chuck explained, later going on to say Flav “will again be embarrassed admitting on stage about the way it spun out. It’s always this way with him.”

Tweeting a picture of the two, Chuck stated, “People can lighten up on Flav. It’s his new mgt that vengefully felt that suing a 3rd party & connecting me was a good move for him #stupid.”
