Queen Latifah’s film production career continues to soar.

Exciting news has emerged that the rapper-turned-actress will be producing two new projects for the Lifetime Movie Network.  Latifah will be executive producing a documentary focusing on the pioneering female emcees. The documentary will be called Where Did the Women of Hip Hop Go?.

Latifah will also produce a one-hour special called U.N.I.T.Y. for the network, which will follow the Queen as she remakes her 1993 rap hit of the same title.

In 2017, Queen Latifah surprised fans at Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert when she joined Remy Ma on stage for a unforgettable ladies of hip hop moment. Latifah along with Lil Kim, MC Lyte, Lady of Rage, Rah Digga, and Young M.A. showed the fans that there is always strength in numbers and female emcees should still be respected.
