“Coachella, thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline.” – Beyonce Beyonce made history Saturday night at the Coachella music festival. As the first black female to headline the annual festival, Beyonce slayed the entire concert with a historic reunion with the her sister’s of Destiny Child’s, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The Grammy award winner also brought out her husband, JAY-Z, and sister Solange, for a great set. But, the moment that sparked it off was Beyonce’s tribute to the soul of Historically Black Colleges & Universities’, the marching band and dance teams.
