On Wednesday (March 28), DMX was given one year in prison for tax evasion. Now, the hip-hop emcee has been ordered to pay $2.3 million in restitution to Uncle Sam.

On the positive side, the judge is allowing DMX to pay his debt in monthly installments. Ten percent of his gross monthly income must be paid until it is all paid off. DMX must begin the payment plan two months after his release. He has also been subject to outpatient substance abuse and outpatient mental health counseling.

TMZ reports that DMX will be housed at Danbury Federal Correctional Facility, a low-security prison in Danbury, Connecticut. However, as of today, the 47-year-old is being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.
