Cee Lo and the Goodie Mob crew has been buzzing lately with word that the fellas have new music coming, reality shows, and a tour. That’s great news for all of the fans that have anticipated this day for a long time.  Additionally, AT&T announced recently that they will be the official judges/mentors for their new “Voices” online singing competition.

The official title for the contest is “Elevate Young Black Voices”. It will serve as a catalyst to empower the youth and encourage them use their talents.  The winners of the contest will receive a two-hour mentoring session  and receive an opportunity to perform live with Goodie Mob on tour in June.

“This contest is just one of the ways AT&T empowers, honors and gives back to the diverse communities we serve,” says Matt Teshera, Sr. Diversity Marketing Manager – West Region, AT&T. “AT&T and BlackBerry are eager to provide a platform, that with Cee Lo and Goodie Mob’s coaching, can honor Black Music Month by helping discover an artist who elevates and edifies the community.”

“BlackBerry believes that with the right technology in the right hands, amazing things can happen,” says Adrian Faull, Vice-President, Channel Marketing. “We’re proud to support a program that can inspire and encourage young African-American artists to pursue their talents, and we look forward to the music that will be created.”

A total of four grand prize winners will be chosen by Cee Lo and Goodie Mob.  Anyone interested in entering the competition can visit www.att.com/voices and complete the online submission form.

Good luck!
