The Minnesota Vikings overcame Chicago Bears Alshon Jeffrey career day to win in overtime on a 34 yard field goal by Vikings Kicker Blair Walsh. Wide Receiver Jeffrey had 12 catches for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Bears. All were career highs for Jeffrey and this was his second time this season with 200 yards or more receiving. Vikings star Running Back Adrian Peterson carried the ball 35 times for 211 yards, a season high and Peterson failed to reach the end zone. Vikings Quarterback Matt Cassell threw for 243 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception and Bears Quarterback Josh McCown threw for 355 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Vikings improve to 3-8-1 and the Bears are 6-6 now, the Bears still could win their division and make the playoffs.

Peyton Manning led the Denver Broncos to a 35-28 win over their division rival Kansas City Chiefs. Manning passed for 403 yards, 5 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Chiefs Quarterback Alex Smith passed for 293 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. The Broncos improve to a division best 10-2 and the Chiefs are 9-3. The Chiefs have lost three games in a row and two of those losses against Denver. Broncos Wide Receiver Eric Decker had 8 catches for a career high 174 yards and another career high 4 touchdowns. Rookie Running Back Montee Ball rushed for a career high 117 yards for the Broncos and Chiefs Running Back Jamaal Charles rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown. Both teams should make the playoffs and could face each other for a third time.
