Who says the good Lord above don’t grant second chances! In the case of pro-footballer, Michael Vick, he’s proven just that. After serving time for illegal dog-fighting, the Philadelphia Eagles took a chance on the star athlete. Vicks’ skills on the football field can’t be denied. He’s proved himself during his first season back in 2010-2011. Now, Nike recognizes this and has re-signed Vick to an endorsement deal. Although details of the deal have not been released publicly, Nike’s spokesperson had this to say…

“Michael acknowledges his past mistakes,” said Nike spokesman Derek Kent. “We do not condone those actions, but we support the positive changes he has made to better himself off the field.”

Congratulations Vick!
