Not Quite The “X” Factor…Kelly Rowland’s Still Getting Checks Ms. Bels Wednesday, September 11, 2013 Tune In None of us are quite sure why Kelly Rowland just can’t seem to shake the Destiny Child’s curse off of her. But unlike the love she receives in the U.K., the American public just doesn’t support Kelly the way that they should. And as an artist who doesn’t sell millions of records, it has to be difficult to see others (with more or lesser talent) receive all the praises and endorsements. Well, it appears that Kelly has moved on from her Talk A Good Game album to pursue other endeavors. Simon Cowell announced that Kelly Rowland will join the U.S. version of “The X Factor” – Season 3. Kelly was a fixture on the British version and despite rumors of several tiffs, she’s now one of the judges whom we’ll see each week on American television. Kelly recently spoke about her return to X Factor. She’s seem very delighted to be apart of one of the highly rated singing competition. “I was excited about being asked to be a judge,” Rowland says. “It’s a show that I really do enjoy and I love the fact that young people can get an opportunity to change their lives within one audition or opportunity and that I can be a part of that.” Good for Kelly! We can’t wait to see her do her thing on the show. The X Factor season 3 airs September 11, 8/7 c.
