On Sunday night, the New York Giants came from behind to score 13 points in the 4th quarter to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 30-20. Giants Quarterback Eli Manning threw for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. Giants Rookie Running Back Andre Williams rushed for a game-high 65 yards and had a rushing touchdown. Giants Rookie Wide Receiver Odell Beckham made his NFL debut and finished with 4 catches for 44 yards and a touchdown. Giants Wide Receiver Rueben Randle had 4 catches for 33 yards and caught the other touchdown from Manning. The Giants improve to 3-2 and have won three in a row after starting the season 0-2. Eli has played like the Super Bowl winning Quarterback in those wins with 8 touchdowns, 1 interception and a QBR (Quarterback Rating) of 104.9 or higher in the last three games.

Quarterback Matt Ryan threw for 319 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception for the Falcons. Rookie Running Back Devonta Freeman led the Falcons with 38 yards rushing and Running Back Steven Jackson finished with 37 yards rushing and a touchdown. Falcons Wide Receiver Julio Jones had 11 catches for 105 yards and has been the Falcons most consistent player. Falcons Running Back Antone Smith had 3 catches for 83 yards and had a 74-yard receiving touchdown.

Some of the Falcons offensive linemen were still hurt after getting hurt their last game and the Falcons still haven’t developed a consistent rushing attack. The Falcons fall to 2-3 and have lost two games in a row. It’s going to be a long season if the Falcons offensive linemen stay hurt and they can’t develop a rushing attack.
