TRR: Death Out of the Ordinary

Family photo leaves teen injured

Teen Shot during a Family Photo….

Guns are defiantly not something that should be taken lightly or played with especially by children. Nashville police are investigating how a teen was shot in the face during a family photo. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s department the 13 year teen that has yet to be identified suffered non-life-threatening shot to the face. Police reports state that the family had been taking family photos during the time of the incident. According to other sources and news releases the guns were illegally obtained.

Thankful that the teen wasn’t killed during the incident, however, this just further backs up the statement that “guns don’t kill people, people kill people.”

Very sad news for the friends and family of a cryotherapy manager in Nevada. Chelsea Patricia Ake-Salvacion, age 24, was found frozen to death at her job inside a cryo-chamber that somehow didn’t turn off. Ake was found by one of her employees “frozen in solid ice” according to reports from local news and police reports.

The cry-chamber is a new treatment that most athletes use to help with the recovery of their muscles while given them additional strength. “Nitrogen in your body can displace the oxygen in your lungs. Simply because of weight and what it is so if you don’t have the proper oxygen you are just going to sleep,” said Dr. Carrison. The autopsy is still underway and causes of her death are between suffocation or by being frozen to death.
