Cash Money Records is celebrating their 20th year of being in music business with a new interactive mobile app.

Via press release…

In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, the most successful independent record label in history, Cash Money Records, will be releasing an immersive and groundbreaking official Cash Money app. Available as of June 29th 2017 exclusively at the App store, the app will be available on all digital platforms beginning September 1st, 2017.

The Cash Money app boasts a wide array of features. Among those, users may recreate the iconic covers of timeless label releases with their own photos, adorning the pics with bling, jewelry, fire, and more. The app includes a free introductory “Sticker Pack” of 20 add-ons with the opportunity to purchase record-specific packs such as a 400 Degreez, Solja Rags, and Tha Block Is Hot, to name a few. Additionally, the app will include a Tattoo pack, featuring the iconic ink of Birdman and Lil Wayne.

Commemorating another hallmark, the app will stream over 15 classic music videos with brand new behind-the-scenes content and “director’s cut” commentary from the artists, filmmakers, and the talent who made some of rap’s most memorable moments a reality on-screen.

For the first month, the app hosts an exclusive digital “pop-up shop” as the only place to purchase the official Cash Money Records 20th Anniversary merchandise line. Moreover, a news section will keep fans current on upcoming releases, events, and more.

Cash Money Records worked directly with leading developer Neon Roots (www.neonroots.com) to develop this inventive and innovative app, which will also incorporate contests and access to exclusive 20th Anniversary events throughout the year.

About the app, Cash Money Records Co-Founder and Chief Executive Ronald “Slim” Williams says, “We’re always excited for the next innovation in the music industry. The app engages fans on the modern playing field, while celebrating our history. It’s the perfect balance. I can remember selling our first releases out of my car, and I can’t wait to see how the album artwork comes to life in the digital space! It’s the beginning of yet another era for Cash Money.”
