Looks like the Philadelphia 76ers may have gotten just the break they needed in helping tie their playoff series against Orlando Magic in Game 6. The NBA announced today that the Magic’s center Dwight Howard has been suspended for drawing a technical foul for throwing an elbow at Sixers’ center Samuel Dalembert after the two got tangled up during a play.

About the incident Howard says, I’m very disappointed but I have to respect the NBA’s decision I didn’t intend to hurt anyone. I have complete faith in my teammates that they will come out and get the job done tomorrow night.”

Ironically, Orlando will also be missing their starting guard, Courtney Lee, in Game 6 due to an injury sustained by an unintentional elbow from Howard later in the game. Orlando will definitely have to step their game up when they take the court tomorrow night without two of their key players.

Dwight, you better watch them bows!
